Planning Board Meeting
April 11, 2016
Present: Bob Salmon, Joyce Newkirk, Scott Pellman, Andy Jones, Bob Lake, Doug Brown, Mrs. Doss
Chairman Salmon called the Board meeting to order at 7 p.m.
Wroblewski – 257 Genesee Street
There was some mapping available at the meeting this evening. There wasn’t enough information available to make a decision on the property boundary change for the property at 257 Genesee Street. Mr. Wroblewski had requested in December 2015 the ability to obtain land from a neighbor to increase the back yard at his residence. The Secretary was instructed to contact Mr. Wroblewski to get additional information for the Board to review.
Tattoo Parlor Information
Doug Brown had obtained some legislation for Lake George at a recent conference he attended on tattoo parlors. The Board was copied with the information. Chairman Salmon asked the Board to look over the information and the Board will discuss the comments/suggestions at the May meeting.
Tattoo Parlor, Solar Energy, Pawn Shop
The Board asked the Secretary to contact Madison County Planning Board to see if they had any sample legislation for the above subjects. If they have anything request that it is sent to the Village for review. Once the Board has had opportunity to review any possible information, the Planning Board would then send a request to the Village Board to consider adopting legislation, based on what is received.
The Board members reviewed the minutes of March 7, 2016. Upon the motion made by Scott Pellman, seconded by Joyce Newkirk, minutes of March 7, 2016 approved as written. All members present voting in favor.
The next meeting will be May 9, 2016 at 7 p.m.
With no further business, meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m. upon the motion made by Joyce Newkirk, seconded by Andy Jones. All members present voting in favor.
