Salary Schedule 2017-18
The Mayor spoke to the Board members in regard to the salary changes for the new budget year, specifically the part time Police Officers. The proposal is to change all part time officers to an hourly rate of $20, and then based on length of employment with the Village there would be an amount added: less than one year $.75 cents per hour
1-7 years $1.00 per hour
Up to 15 years $1.50 per hour
20 plus years $2.00 per hour
The Board discussed information presented. Upon the motion made by Trustee Bough Martin, seconded by Trustee Kopp, the Salary schedule for the part time police approved as outlined above, and the remaining salary schedule for the remaining employees approved for 2017-18 budget year. The Police full time salaries are not included in this as those salaries are covered under the Union Contract and that is not finalized yet. Those employees will be addressed after the Union Contract is finalized. All members present voting in favor.
