We are currently planning for our Bi-Centennial, which occurs in 2012. Many different activities are being planned and we encourage the community to get involved. If you are interested, please contact the Village Office. Along with the Bi-Centennial is a Mural Project that will be completed, installed and unveiled in 2012. The Murals depict the Village of Chittenango during the turn of the 20th Century. This project is a series of 6 large historic scenes of old Chittenango and the first Mural has been completed and is shown above. It was felt that since many buildings fell into disrepair and had to be taken down that this was a good way to remember our past.
