Trustee

     I have lived in Chittenango all my life. I went through Chittenango Schools, graduated from SUNY Oswego, and married my wonderful husband, Tom, and we have two sons- Steven and Kevin. We also have a super daughter-in-law, Tracy, and two grandsons whom we adore.

       We owned and operated Kopp's Canteen Restaurant for 40 yrs. It was a wonderful business and it allowed us to meet some of the most incredible people and to travel places sometimes we can only dream of.

       Being around politics most of my life, I ran for Trustee of Chittenango in 2008 and was just re-elected to my third term in March, 2016. Chittenango is a well-run village and is fiscally very sound.

       As Trustee, I serve as the DPW commissioner, overseeing the road and building construction, snowplowing, garbage removal, and street and sidewalk maintenance.  We have a great DPW!  I am also part of the team which audits the court records.

       I also am involved in many other ways. I help with the Village's April Community Betterment Day, the Tuesday Artisan Market, the Rotary Chuckwagon and serve at St. Patrick's Church.
